Project Mc2 – proud sponsors of British Science Week

Project Mc2 is pleased to once again be supporting British Science Week.

This annual 10-day celebration of all things S.T.E.M inspires young people and their parents to get involved in science – through fascinating, entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK.

Project Mc2 is passionate about encouraging young people, especially girls, that science and technology can be fun and is for everyone, so partnering with British Science Week is a perfect fit.

Project Mc2 offers a ‘geek chic’ lifestyle approach for tween girls through smart and savvy science-inspired play. A fashion doll line and entertainment based brand with Netflix original show , Project Mc2 is about a team of super-smart and seriously cool girls – McKeyla McAlister, Adrienne Attoms, Bryden Bandweth, Camryn Coyle, Devon D’Marco, and Ember Evergreen – who use their love of science and technology to complete top secret missions as part of spy organisation NOV8 (that’s “innovate”).

The line of dolls – each based on a character from the Netflix original show – come with their own experiments that can be done at home using household ingredients, whilst the range of accessories include exciting science-based activities allowing children to take part in experiments at home in a fun and engaging way.

This spring will see the girls return with a host of exciting new S.T.E.A.M focused products as seen in the Netflix original show. New products include a new line of Project Mc2 Experiments with Dolls (RRP £24.99)– including experiments such as making your own lava lip gloss and designing amazing tie dye, exciting cosmetic chemistry sets including the Project Mc2 H20 Nail Science Lab (£24.99) where you can create one-of-a-kind marble nail designs using hydrographic printing, and a Project Mc2 Crayon Makeup Science kit (£24.99) where you can create your own makeup out of crayons!

We are proud to be supporting British Science Week, and hopefully helping to encourage the next generation of female scientists, engineers and mathematicians. In the words of Project Mc2 – smart really is the new cool!
