Poster competition: still plenty of time to get involved!

The annual poster competition is one of the most popular aspects of British Science Week, with over 12,000 students participating in 2016.

This year, the theme of the poster competition is ‘change‘.

There are five age categories, and your students can make their poster about whatever type of change they’d like.  There is more information on the poster competition page of this site, and also inspiration contained within our activity packs that also follow the theme of ‘change’.

The competition this year is sponsored by Smyths Toys Superstore who are generously providing the following prizes:

  • Five (5) x £100 Smyths gift vouchers
  • Five (5) x Lego Technic Air Race Jet prizes (combined prize value: £550)

Other poster competition prizes include a copy of the new George’s Marvellous Experiments book, a companion book to Roal Dahl’s George’s Marvellous Medicine!

And, while British Science Week finishes on Sunday 19 March, there is still plenty of time for your students to get involved, as the closing date for the poster competition is on 21 April 2017.
